What Is Bund Lining?
A bund is a secondary containment structure — typically a wall or enclosure surrounding storage tanks, vessels, or process equipment — designed to contain any spillage or leakage of hazardous liquids.
Bund lining refers to the application of a chemical-resistant coating or membrane to the internal surfaces of a bund, ensuring that the concrete or steel substrate is protected from chemical attack and that the containment remains impermeable.
